Women invited to attend Devon RFU training sessions

This season the Devon women’s representative squad will be competing in the Gill Burns County Championship Division One for a third season.

Last year, the squad performed well in their group, winning their home fixture against Gloucestershire RFU, but they lost out to Berkshire RFU and Kent RFU.

Selection, trials and training

This campaign DRFU will be holding a series of six, monthly open training sessions from 9-11am, instead of trials for ladies who would like to be part of the representative team this season.

The first session will be on September 29 2018 from 9-11am at Plymstock Albion Oaks.  Further sessions will be held at Cranbrook 3G pitch from 9-11am on Saturday, October 27, Saturday, December 1, 2018, Saturday, January 5, 2019 and at Plymstock Albion Oaks on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 9am-11am.

Any interested players in the county are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible. After this time the squad will be selected for the county program.
