A successful RFU Inner Warrior Camp took place at Brixham RFC on Tuesday night.

The event saw 22 women, nearly all new to the game, take part in the fun, commitment-free rugby taster session.

The RFU have been running Inner Warrior Camps for the past two years to try and introduce more women to the game. They have helped increase women’s participation around the country, with around 5,000 women picking up a rugby ball for the first time and nearly 15,000 attending previous camps. They have also helped launch new teams, including in Devon.
